According to the latest Spotify update, “DARARI” has hit a peak of #3 on Spotify’s ‘K-Pop Global’ weekly chart, becoming the song by a fourth-generation K-Pop group with the highest peak on the chart. It is breaking its tie for fourth place with IVE’s “ELEVEN” and ENHYPEN’s “Polaroid Love.”
TREASURE’s ‘DARARI’ breaking record
On the third week of its release, the side track achieved a new peak of #102 on Spotify’s ‘Global’ weekly chart, with over 6.9 million filtered streams. Furthermore, “DARARI” continues to hold the longest fourth-generation boy band song on Spotify’s ‘Global Top 100’ daily chart.
“DARARI” was recently ranked #20 on Billboard’s ‘Hot Trending Songs’ weekly chart for the week of March 19. Furthermore, since its release, the song has spent 20 consecutive days at the top of Shazam’s ‘K-Pop Global’ chart. In the meantime, 32 days after its release as a b-sidetrack from TREASURE’s first mini-album titled “The Second Step: Chapter One,” “DARARI” is still charting at #77 on the worldwide iTunes song chart, according to AllKpop.
TREASURE’s ‘DARARI’ trending on Tiktok
KBS Music Bank, a South Korean music chart show, has recently implemented a new rule that includes TikTok views in calculating social media engagement for a specific song.
The DARARI Challenge has also surpassed 1.2 million videos on TikTok, the audio version video on Treasure’s YouTube channel has surpassed 9 million views, it has reached #1 on Shazam Korea, and it is steadily climbing the Melon Daily chart (latest update is #309, I believe).
The song’s TikTok version of DARARI that has gone viral is a sped-up/Nightcore version. Of course, in true TikTok fashion, a “DARARI Challenge” has also sprung up on the social media site, with TREASURE labelmates Somi and WINNER already participating. Other Kpop groups, such as NCT and ENHYPEN, have also participated in the “DARARI Dance Challenge, Otakukart posted.
