Forever Entertainment Will Launch “The House of the Dead: Remake” on April 7 for Nintendo Switch Gamers; Trailer already Released

The game’s developer, Forever Entertainment, has set April 7 as the release date for the Nintendo Switch version of “The House of the Dead: Remake.” The official trailer was published on Friday, March 4, and pre-orders will be available on March 31, as previously promised.

The game was supposed to be out towards the end of 2021, but, like so many other games in recent memory, it had to be postponed. Forever Entertainment is undoubtedly confident in its ability to launch the game.  Many gamers remember “The House of the Dead,” so it’s interesting to notice similarities between the teaser that was released and the look that fans remember from more than 20 years ago.

Despite the enhanced graphics, “The House of the Dead: Remake” appears to maintain the original’s unique style, and most of the sound editing will be instantly recognized by anyone who has spent substantial time playing the original, Slash Gear reported.

The House of the Dead

The House of the Dead is a horror-themed first-person lighting gun shooter arcade game released by Sega on September 13, 1996, in Japan. The House of the Dead is the first game in the series. Players take on the roles of agents Thomas Rogan and “G” in their efforts to counteract the results of Dr. Curien’s deadly and inhumane research.

From the late 1990s to the early 2000s, The House of the Dead, along with Resident Evil, is credited with various zombie video games. It is promoting zombies in modern culture, resulting in renewed interest in zombie films. The House of the Dead is also known for inventing fast-moving zombies, which became famous in zombie movies and computer games in the 2000s.

According to the trailer, The House of the Dead: Remake won’t stray too far from the source material. The game, as well as the different monsters that players will face, are all familiar, although more contemporary and not based on 1990s hardware.

Nintendo promises that the game will be “true to the original gameplay,” with modern controls and numerous endings for those who purchase it in April. Pre-orders for The House of the Dead: Remake commences on March 31 for those interested in purchasing the game, according to the Coming Soon website.
