A recent Jujutsu Kaisen event confirmed that MAPPA is producing the anime adaptation of the manga series ‘Chainsaw Man’ for an October 2022 release. Manga readers can find literally thousands of manga series online, but there aren’t many that are as popular as Chainsaw Man.
This manga has become one of the most popular fan-favorites in recent years thanks to its darker theme than other traditional series, alongside a set of extremely violent and gory characters and a set of excellent storylines.
Chainsaw Man anime adaptation
According to HITC, an anime adaptation for Chainsaw Man was rumored to be produced in December 2020 by the Unofficial Shonen Jump News Twitter page. After author Tatsuki Fujimoto announced that an important announcement would be made following the conclusion of the manga that weekend, many fans were hoping it would lead to an anime adaptation.
A horrific television series based on the epic manga was formally confirmed on December 13th by the manga’s creators.
As per the news, although no precise release date was announced during the event, we would bet on Chainsaw Man episode 1 premiering on either Sunday, October 9th or 16th, depending on the day of the week.
This is due to the fact that Sundays are becoming the most popular day for anime to air in Japan, with shows such as Attack on Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Demon Slayer.
The highly anticipated anime
Fans can’t wait for the anime version of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Chainsaw Man to start later this year. After the first manga part was a huge hit, an anime adaptation of Chainsaw Man was inevitable. Chainsaw Man debuted in 2018 and has steadily grown in popularity.
According to Game Rant, after the manga ended in 2020, Fujimoto indicated he would start work on part 2 later this year. Studio MAPPA’s anime adaptation of Chainsaw Man was also announced at the same time. Given the popularity of the manga, Chainsaw Man may be one of the year’s biggest anime.
An anime adaptation of one of the greatest stories ever written is almost here.
