Romantic-Comedy Animes to Watch after Hurimiya, Valentine’s Day

Romantic-Comedy

Although the Horimiya anime is no longer running, the romantic-comedy anime continues in the original manga series, and a new one-shot Horimiya manga story has recently been announced.

That’s great news for fans, but those who enjoy rom-com anime can check out a few other series in the same spirit if they’re in the mood for something else.

Romantic-comedy animes to watch

Having a reputation for action-packed conflicts and super-powered protagonists, anime romantic-comedy is a popular genre. Romantic fiction is watched for several reasons. Some watch it because they long for romantic fulfillment in their own lives, while others just want to feel good.

Wotakoi

According to CBR News, unlike other rom-com anime programs, Wotakoi is set in an office. Despite being in their late 20s and having more life experience than a high schooler, the main protagonists still struggle with their otaku fandoms.

Keeping their geeky side hidden is preferable for Momose Narumi and Nifuji Hirotaka at this office, but their shared interest will inevitably draw them together as the geekiest of couples.

Maid-Sama! a romantic-comedy anime for all

Ayuzawa Misaki, the president of the student council, moonlights as a maid to support her struggling mother and sister, and she must keep this from her mother and sister.

Then comes her popular blond student Usui Takumi, a “pervy alien” lover who is captivated with her despite his outrageous actions. Misaki soon accepts Takumi as a friend, ally, and lover, just in time to uncover Takumi’s tumultuous past, according to the report.

Given, a Boys’ Love genre in anime

Anime Corner stated that Given creates a plot and people that are so real that you can’t help but be emotionally invested. The story is about overcoming bereavement and personal growth as a musician, as well as romantic relationships. Given is a rare show for animes in the Boys’ Love and romance genres.

Adachi and Shimamura

Adachi and Shimamura is a lovely slice-of-life manga that is propelled by its gorgeous art direction and endearing main character interactions. The series’ dreamy pacing makes it the perfect romance anime to unwind with after a long day.
