Square Enix stated that it will continue to support its Final Fantasy XIV MMORPG for the next ten years during its latest announcement and the 6.1 patches will kick off the journey until 2032. On PS4, PC, and PS5 Final Fantasy XIV Online is now accessible.
During the webcast, the MMORPG’s producer and director, Naoki Yoshida, indicated that the game’s long-term ambitions include enhanced visuals.
The game’s first graphical update will include “higher-resolution textures, improved material qualities, and better lighting and shadow effects,” according to the director and producer of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. Square Enix plans to implement the first enhancements with the release of the next expansion pack.
The webcast also revealed that the game’s “Trust System” for the main storyline dungeons in the “A Realm Reborn” segment of the game would be expanded in the next patch 6.1 that enabling the players to play particular segments alone rather than in a co-op setting. For newcomers to the game, they will provide a free trial enrollment.
The game will be released with an online free trial that contains all content from the expansions A Realm Reborn and Heavensward as well as three new playable jobs: Dark Knight, Astrologian, and Machinist, as well as the additional playable race Au Ra, according to Anime News Network.
