In the latter part of 2021, some senators called for a regular stimulus check to be sent out to support Americans who were placed in poverty as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the issue is that state governments, not the federal government, are now responsible for extensive financial relief.

But do not lose hope. US citizens can still expect a fourth stimulus payment. All they need to do is to check whether they are eligible.

Fourth Stimulus Check 2022

According to a report by Marca.com, the criteria for receiving a stimulus check in 2022 must be met. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, additional financial assistance, which most people are eligible for, is being supplied to US citizens. Although the federal government no longer provides financial assistance, there are a number of initiatives available to assist people in need.

The report added that some people claim that the stimulus checks, among other things, have had a negative impact on the US economy, with opponents citing the rise in inflation as a basis for not sending out a fourth stimulus check.
