Finally, at the last moment, his partner Val arrives, and he kills Dr Brenner, and both of them escape. Val doesn’t want to die and shares his feeling with Kevin. He tells him that he wants to live and raise his child independently. Then comes the police, and they chase them. To get away with all this, they devise a plan, and they go to Donny and exchange the car for motorbikes. The police are onto them; they spot them by the helicopter, and they finally stop running; they both are almost caught, and Kevin is now convincing his partner Val that they must suicide because the police with now get them in no time. Val still wants to live and wants to raise his child. They both come up with the idea that Val lives and tell the police that Kevin was the one who murdered Dr Brenner and he was innocent. Kevin commits suicide, and Val ends up in prison, where his wife Natasha and his daughter visit him on occasion.
