Belinda Cape, Odele’s mother, revealed the information in a recent Facebook post and expressed her and her family’s “heartbreak” over the unanticipated loss.

“It breaks my heart to post the news of our beloved Odele’s burial. The expressions of love and support we have received and your memories of how cherished Odele was to so many have left her sister Lucinda and me speechless, Cape wrote.

Odele “leaves a large void in our life and was dearly adored.”

Words will never be sufficient to adequately explain the sadness we are all feeling, Lucinda Ventimiglia, wrote on Instagram with a carousel of photographs honouring her sister Odele. I adored my little sister dearly, and I will continue to look for her everywhere I go for the rest of my life.

“My family and me are very appreciative for all the attention and support you have given us during this tough time,” she continued. Never before was it more obvious how much she meant to so many people.

The cause of Odele’s passing has not been revealed.

Artie Bucco, in the venerable HBO series John, did not respond to a request for comment from Page Six through a representative.

The family asked for contributions to a GoFundMe that had been put up to help offset the expense of Odele’s infant daughter Shiloh’s future schooling in place of flowers. The fundraiser’s target was $50,000, which has already exceeded that amount.

Stevie Van Zandt, a former “Sopranos” co-star, and his wife, Maureen Van Zandt, donated $500 to the charity event and offered their condolences.

They signed their offering, “Deepest Love and Condolences, Maureen and Stevie Van Zandt.” Her daughter and her immediate family survive Odele. Odele Cape, a former “Sopranos” cast member’s daughter, passed away at age 25.

Odele was deeply cherished, Belinda Cape wrote on Facebook after losing her child with actor John Ventimiglia, who portrayed chef Artie Bucco in the HBO series The Sopranos.

Belinda Cape, a Sopranos alumna, posted information about their loss over the weekend on Facebook, along with plans for Odele’s funeral in Brooklyn on Thursday.

She commented, “Heartbroken to post our darling Odele’s funeral notice.” “The messages of love and support we have received, as well as your memories of how cherished Odele was to so many, have left her sister Lucinda and I speechless,” she wrote. Odele was dearly loved and left a significant vacuum in our life, the woman continued.

The cause of Odele’s passing is unknown, and a Ventimiglia representative did not immediately reply to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Odele’s sister Lucinda also paid tribute to her by posting old Instagram images of her sister throughout her life.
She wrote, “Words will never be able to explain the sadness we are all feeling. I will spend the rest of my life looking for my little sister everywhere because I love her so much.

Lucinda said, “My family and I are incredibly appreciative of all the kindness and assistance we have received during this difficult period. Never before was how much she valued to so many people more evident. I’m sending my love to everybody who is struggling to deal with her loss. Please take care of one another and remember Odele.”

Instead of flowers, the family asks for donations to go toward Shiloh’s future educational expenses on the GoFundMe page for Odele’s daughter, which Belinda shared.

Steven Van Zandt, a co-star of Ventimiglia’s on The Sopranos, and his wife Maureen were part of the supporters. They added, “Deepest Love & Deepest sympathies, Maureen as well as Stevie Van Zandt,” and donated $500.
