Studio Ghibli has released a first glimpse at its upcoming Ghibli Park in Japan, which is set to open in November.
The film opens by showcasing a number of other well-known historical sites in Aichi, Japan, where a park is now being built.
The film concludes with a detailed look at one of the theme park’s latest features.
The Totoro area of the park will also have a reproduction of the film’s sanctuary. A 17-foot tall statue of the film’s iconic figure that children may play within.
The renowned animation company revealed the new park with a teaser film and a sequence of photographs published the post on the official Twitter account.

The Ghibli Museum in Mitaka, Tokyo, will be as large as the theme park’s population.
The park also has replicas of Princess Mononoke’s village and Kiki’s Delivery Service locations, in addition to the Totoro region.
Ghibli Park had been mentioned in 2017, with an initial opening date of 2020. The theme park is being built at Aichi’s Expo Park.
Studio Ghibli exhibits in 2008 and 2015 and hosted The World’s Fair in 2005. Ghibli Park has stated that they hope it will attract both domestic and international visitors.
Ghibli fans may want to hold off on making any travel plans for the time being. Japan has put restrictions on foreign travel into the country due to the ongoing COVID-19 disease outbreak.
