Eeb Allay Ooo is an Indian origin film which was released in the year 2019. The film is directed by Prateek Vats, the story is written by Shubham. This was a debut film for Prateek as a director. The story of the film revolves around a man who came to Delhi in search for a government job and gets a job for abstaining the monkeys from reaching the buildings, the film also shows the struggles faced by him during his duty. The title of the film is made up of three words which refers to different sounds which are made to keep the monkeys away from residential areas and are used by monkey chasers.

Shashi Bhushan is portraying the role of Anjani’s Brother in law. Nitin Goyal as Narayan/ Contractor. Naina Sareen is in the role of Kumudh.
The film Eeb Allay Ooo has won various awards and titles like, it was selected for Panorama section of the 70th Berlin International Film Festival in the year 2020. It also won the Golden Gateway Award at Mumbai Film Festival in India. The film also won awards at Critics Choice Film Awards 2021 in two categories one for Best Feature Film and the other for The Best Direction.
What is Eeb Allay Ooo Plot?
The story of the film revolves around a character named Anjani who is originally from bihar and comes to Delhi and lives with his pregnant sister and brother in law. While searching for a job he gets a job at Monkey Repeller Squad. He abstains the monkey from reaching the government buildings so that the workers can work there undisturbed. He is advised not to harm the monkeys as they are associated with the god Hanuman. He is not all happy and comfortable with his job and gets humiliated when a group of workers lock him inside a cage which was meant to be made for the monkeys.
Insight of Eeb Allay Ooo Development And Filming:
The film Eeb Allay Ooo is directed by Prateek Vats, in an interview he revealed that while he was reading a news report regarding the Wildlife protection Act, 1972, which states that langurs should no longer be used to scare away the monkeys who were causing nuisance at Rashtrapati Bhawan. Theie men used to dress up as langures and used to imitate like them so that they can keep the monkeys away from the constitutional building. An idea of making a film regarding this issue clicked his mind. Through this movie he also wanted to put forward the contributions and struggles of the people who are often ignored by the society. He wanted to give recognition to these unsung heroes. He also stated that he was confused that weather to make a mockumentary or a documentary but later decided to keep it simple and real, subsequently made a fiction movie.
Talking about the filming of the movie, it took 60 days to complete the filming in the year 2018. The team revealed that the crew often had to wait for couple of days in order to get the desired result and act from the monkeys, as they were totally untrained. During the filming a Veterinarian was also present at the filming location.
Everything About Eeb Allay Ooo Ending:
As the film progress we see Anjani realising that he is not meant for this job. Mahender who is his mentor can make up the sounds used to scare away the monkeys quite effectively but Anjani is unable to do so. So keep in pace with his job he starts using slingshot and dresses up as langur to scare away the monkeys and both of them are illegal ways. He gets fired and later discovers that Mahender has been killed by an angry mob of monkeys. The film ends by delivering the message that the migrant workers are always thought to work like machines every day and night, and the existence of these unsung heroes always remains unseen by the society.
