Wendy’s is trying out drone delivery in Christiansburg, Va., with DoorDash and Wing. Customers in that area can order Wendy’s menu items through the DoorDash app and select drone delivery at checkout. Orders will be readied at Wendy’s and delivered by a Wing drone, usually within 30 minutes.
Wendy’s drone delivery trial will start in Christiansburg. The fast food chain intends to expand to more U.S. cities later this year, as reported by NRN.
