Gatwa will make his Time Lord debut in 2023.

The BBC and Disney Branded Television recently announced a partnership to make Disney+ the new global home for future “Doctor Who” seasons outside of the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Jodie Whittaker’s 13th Doctor replenished into David Tennant’s 14th Doctor last month. The Scottish actor has come back to the series for three special episodes that will air in November 2023 to commemorate the show’s 60th anniversary. He’ll be teamed up with Catherine Tate’s Donna, who co-starred with him in 2008.
