The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel is Now Under New Production

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel is a character RPG by Nihon Falcom. The Trails franchise is a subdivision of The Legend of Heroes, and the videogame is included. The anime is now under the Tatsunoko Production. 

The anime was announced by Nihon Falcom in March 2021, with a scheduled release date of 2022.  The animation is a collaborative effort between UserJoy, Funimation, SYOU, and NADA. 

The initial game series featured Rean Schwarzer’s journey in the Erebonian Empire’s military college, while the anime will focus on the western section of the Zemurian continent based on the games.

In September 2013, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel was released in Japan for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. In December 2015, XSEED published the game for both platforms in North America,

The NIS America released the game for both consoles in Europe in January 2016. The game was published for PC in August 2017 by XSEED. The PlayStation 4 version of the game was released in Japan in March 2018.

The fourth entry in the role-playing game series, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV, will be released on the PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe.

The continent of Zemuria from The Legend of Heroes’ Trails series is notable for many things, but its western areas are the most contentious and popular.

Calvard and the Liberal Kingdom make up this kingdom. Crossbell, Nord Highlands, and the Erebonia Empire are the most powerful of them all.  According to the Epicdope.com website.

The Trails series of the franchise is set entirely in this region and features a plethora of secrets from all directions. Tatsunoko Prod has created an animation for Nihon Falcom’s RPG series “The Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki!”
