Two people were shot to death during a birthday celebration in North Carolina on Saturday, including a 15-year-old kid, as stated by the police officers. Deputies said Randi D. Hunt, a 20-year-old woman of Rowland, died at the scene, while the 15-year-old kid died later from his injuries acquired during the shooting.
Around 12:38 a.m., Robeson County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the incident. Officials claimed that the incident occurred in Pembroke, roughly 40 miles south of Fayetteville. The unidentified adolescent was rushed to a hospital in severe condition.
The matter is being investigated by the county sheriff’s homicide section, but no arrests have been made as of Sunday night. The criminals are familiar to the police, but no further information has been offered, as per the report of Fox News page.
Alleged Homicide
Authorities are investigating a homicide, but no information about a possible suspect has been released. The Robeson Sheriff’s Deputy Homicide Unit is asking everybody who was at the event or has details of the incident to contact them.
With a few past shootings in their area, the sheriff’s office said that they had a multitude of witnesses on the scene who need to come out with the truth. As this press release is being written, investigators are out all overnight investigating the matter, based on the report of the New York Post.
The office received word this morning that a 20-year-old woman was killed in a shooting and that another person was shot and airlifted to Chapel Hill. This happened shortly after midnight at a birthday celebration outside of Pembroke.
