According to TMZ, the death of model Jeff Thomas was claimed to be a suicide on Wednesday. He was 35.

Even though police are still looking into Thomas’ death, law enforcement sources informed the publication they received a call on March 8 claiming his body had been discovered after he allegedly leapt from the balcony of his Miami condominium.

Although the reason for his death has not yet been determined definitively by an autopsy, it is currently believed to have been an apparent suicide.

Jeff Thomas, a model and social media influencer, passed away following a fall from an apartment balcony in Miami, Florida. Thomas’ body was discovered by authorities on March 8, according to TMZ. The Miami-based model had more than 120,000 followers on Instagram, where he was upfront about his mental health and was affiliated with the London-based firm AMCK models. He also had a significant online presence. On the same day of his demise, Thomas tweeted a photo of himself conducting a frigid plunge, stating in the caption, “a cold plunge a day, keeps the doctor away,” along with the hashtags “wellness” and “mental health.” Thomas debuted a new tattoo a few days earlier: “resilience” was inscribed on his arm.

Throughout his career, Thomas declared on Instagram that he also wanted to be a firefighter and made countless appearances in runway events, publications, and advertisements. On the website, Thomas was listed as having founded and served as the head of the Art consultancy and “built a personal network with some of the most famous contemporary artists in the world. Jeff and his associates foster the artist in everybody by building individual collections that are based on the distinct interests and personalities of each client thanks to their elevated privileges to artist workshops, art fairs, and international auction houses.” The native Floridian also had close relationships with A-list celebrities like Nicole Scherzinger and Megan Fox.


Fans and friends of Thomas have remembered him in the wake of his loss, with numerous recent Instagram posts from the model turning into memorials. The LA-based fashion designer Kris Haigh commented on Thomas’ final Instagram post that he “never failed to provide an upbeat attitude every time I saw you,” adding, “We never know what individuals are going through.
