On the official website of the animated adaptation of the light novels written by Kennoji and illustrated by Matsuuni, Cheat Kusushi in Slow Life: Isekai ni Tsukurou Drugstore, it was announced that the voice actress Akane Kumada will interpret the project’s musical themes, including the single “ Kokoro Hayaru ”, which will be released on August 4 in Japan and whose main song will be the opening theme of the project and the single “ Mainichi Kashimashi Pharmacy ”, which will be released on July 28 in Japan and whose main song will be the closing theme of the project.
The series is scheduled to premiere in Japan for the 2021 summer season (July-September).
Synopsis:
The story follows Reiji, a man frustrated with his current life and his endless work that one day ends up being transported to an alternative world. Your skill is to create medicines. Disappointed that he has no combat ability, he discovers that his potions are really powerful, so he decides to open a pharmacy with the money he has accumulated.

The series will be directed by Masafumi Satou (Denki-Gai no Honya-san) at EMT Squared Studios.
Hiroko Kanasugi (Hakushon Daimaou 2020) will be responsible for the composition of the anime, as well as for the scripts.
Illustrator Etsuko Sumimoto (Beelzebub-jou no Okinimesu mama) will draw the characters.
Musician Tomoki Kikuya (Blend S, Nisekoi) will be responsible for creating the series’ soundtrack.
Kennoji started publishing the novel on the website Shousetsu ni Narou in 2016. It was later acquired by Hifumi Shobou, who has published three volumes in physical form since April 2018 under the brand Brave Novel.
A manga adaptation with the art of Eri Haruno began to serialize online on the site Comic Gamma Plus, the Takeshobo, in December 2018.
