American Horror Story is an American Horror series. It comes under the genre of horror and anthopology. The series is created by Brad Falchuk and Ryan Murphy for a cable network FX. Each season of the comprises of certain small seasons. In this article we will get to know about all seasons of American Horror story in chronological order.
Murder House:
The first season of the series was launched in the year 2011. It was streamed on 5th of October and is titled as Murder House. In the story we can see a family consisting of a psychiatrist named Ben, his wife, mother and a daughter. They shifted to Los Angeles from Boston. The mother Vivien had a miscarriage before shifting, the family get to know about Ben’s affair with one of his student, this tears apart the family.
Asylum:
The second season of the series was premiered on 17 October 2011. It is titled as Asylum. It consists of a total of a total of 13 episodes. The story follows the life patients and staff members at an asylum owned by the church. The church is located at Massachusetts. The asylum was established to treat a serial killer named Kit Walker. Her wife was disappeared.
Coven:
The third season of the series American horror story was premiered on 9 October 2013 and was concluded on 29th January 2014. It has a total of 13 episodes and is titled as Coven. The season’s storyline revolves around the life of witches who survived the Salem witch trial and now they are struggling to hide their identity from the people in the modern world.
Freak Show:
The fourth season of the series was launched on 8 october in the year 2014. It consists of a total of 13 episodes. In this episode we can see a creep show led by Elsa Mars. Though the era have passed when people used to see creep show as a form of entertainment, but Elsa is in a mission to find her fame and name through the show and also a home for her monsters.
Hotel:
The fifth season of the series is titled as Hotel, it was premiered on 7th October in the year 2015. It contains a total of 12 episodes. It is titled as Hotel. In the season we can see the happenings at Hotel Cortez located in the downtown of Los Angeles, California. It was built for the purpose of torturing pleasures for James Patrick, who was the founder of the chamber.
Roanoke:
The sixth season was premiered on 14th September in the year 2016. It contains of a total of 10 episodes. The season is titled as Roanoke. In the season we can see a farmhouse situated in North Carolina and a lot of supernatural things occurring there. It located at a place where the Raonake were seen after their disappearance in the year 1580.
Cult:
The seventh season of the series was premiered on 5th September in the year 2017. It consists of a total of 11 episodes. The season is titled as Cult. In the season we can see a town Brookfield Heights located in Michigan. The town is divided due to the presidential elections, due to which all the residents are in a Wake.
Apocalypse:
The eighth season of the series was premiered on 12th September in the year 2018. It consists a total of 10 episodes. The season is titled as Apocalypse. The word Apocalypse here means the revelation of certain mysteries which are set to happen in near future by supernatural beings. In the season we can see Michael Langdon, an Antichrist making the revelation of nuclear warfare.
1984:
The ninth season of the series was premiered on 18th September in the year 2019. It consists of a total of 9 episodes. The season is titled as 1984. The storyline revolves around the life of Brooke Thompson, who is traveling to a newly opened summer camp which is known as Camp Redwood. She wants to work there as a counselor.
Double Feature:
The tenth season of the series was premiered on 25 August in the year 20121. It consists of a total of 10 episodes. The season is titled as Double Feature. In the season we can see the family of a struggling writer which include Harry Gardner, the writer, his wife who is pregnant, and daughter Alma moving to a town named Provincetown.
